Another interesting thing about Krabi: there are clothing stores lining the streets of the small town, each with its own collection of vintage mannequins that look like they belong in some sort of horror movie or haunted house. Krabi: Creepy Mannequin Capital of the World
Krabi is an excellent place to hang out for a few days. It's backpacker friendly (as opposed to Phuket, which caters to the 5-star European tourist), but there are more amenities (A/C) and cheap delicious food everywhere.
Another interesting thing about Krabi: there are clothing stores lining the streets of the small town, each with its own collection of vintage mannequins that look like they belong in some sort of horror movie or haunted house.
