Kampuchea

We made it through the long and dusty trek to Cambodia (known to locals as Kampuchea)

I have a face mask that comes in handy when you're stuck on a bus with people who cough and sneeze. Also, in Cambodia it's really dusty and there are open sewers everywhere, so it's nice to have something to cover your nose and mouth.

Amok: my favorite Cambodian dish. Amok is a curry and coconut milk gravy that is steamed with fish inside banana leaves. It's a common dish in Lao and Thailand as well. Khmer fish amok is the national dish of Cambodia. This was a vegetarian version and it was definitely one of the best meals I've had on the entire trip.
